 a member of The Women's Auxiliary Air Force who stows on board an aircraft
  bound for Northern Germany as part of Operation Varsity.\n\n On 24 March 
 1945\, Operation Varsity was a successful airborne forces operation launch
 ed by Allied troops. Involving more than 16\,000 paratroopers and several 
 thousand aircraft\, it is the largest airborne operation ever conducted on
  a single day and in one location. It set out from Essex and Suffolk airfi
 elds\, with a key departure base being RAF Rivenhall.\n\nSuggested donatio
