The chalking of doors has medieval origins and is a sign of blessing, hospitality and faith for those who mark their homes.

So, on Sunday 3rd January we will bless the church doors, and we invite you to bless your own home too.

This community action reminds us all to be kind and generous to our neighbours, especially in their hour of need.
