 nday in the Book of Common Prayer\, which tells us how Jesus\, having decl
 ared 'Before Abraham was\, I am'  then hid himself from the Hebrews when t
 hey attempted to stone him for his perceived blasphemy (John 8:59).   In t
 his way the stage is set for the great events of Holy Week. \n\nAll are we
