DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for this double celebration of two important 
 saints.  St Chad was the brother of St Cedd\, and both of them were traine
 d by St Aidan of Lindisfarne.  Chad became bishop of Lichfield.  St Alcuin
  was a pupil at the York School which was renowned for its learning in the
  liberal arts\, literature and science as well as theology\, and he ended 
 up working for the emperor Charlemagne in Aachen and was famous for his te
 aching.  Chad died in 672 AD\, Alcuin in 809 AD.
