After thorough cleaning - removing all the high cobwebs and dust, and then sanitising pews and floors and rearranging the seating so that the congregation is able to adhere to social distancing measures - we aim to have our first services in church on Sunday, July 5th. There will be BCP Holy Communion at 8am, and at 9.30am (note the earlier time) there will be a Eucharist service. It will be different from our usual Sung Eucharist, as there will be no hymns or singing at all, and communion in one kind only.
The church will be open once a week, on Wednesdays, from 10am until 2pm for private prayer.
Our church in Eynesbury is also open on Thursdays from 10am until 2pm for private prayer and the Eucharist on Sundays will be at 11am.
What a blessing to be able to worship together again.
Live streamed services and reflections will continue for those still unable or fearful of coming into the church building while any restrictions are in place.
