DESCRIPTION:Our annual ‘Try the Organ Day’ is the perfect opportunity 
 for young musicians to have a go at playing the cathedral organ.\n\nThe da
 y will be overseen by our assistant Head of Music\, Ashley Wagner and othe
 r professional organists – providing the perfect introduction to this be
 autiful instrument. With over 3000 pipes\, our organ is a powerful instrum
 ent\, which is central to the worship and music of the cathedral.\n\nWhile
  a background in playing the piano would be advantageous\, there is no req
 uirement for participants to have had formal lessons in join in. All we as
 k is that those taking part are aged 18 and under.\n\nBooking is required 
 so we know how many students we can expect. Please register your interest
