DESCRIPTION:Our annual ‘Try the Organ Day’ is the perfect opportunity 
 for young musicians to have a go at playing the cathedral organ.\n\nThe da
 y will be overseen by our Assistant Head of Music\, Ashley Wagner and othe
 r professional organists – providing the perfect introduction to this be
 autiful instrument. With over 3\,000 pipes\, our organ is a powerful instr
 ument\, which is central to the worship and music of the cathedral.\n\nPar
 ticipants must be aged 8 – 18. While a background in playing the piano w
 ould be advantageous\, there is no requirement for participants to have ha
 d formal lessons.\n\nThis event is free but booking is required.\n\nTo boo
