2nd Sunday of Easter

19 Apr 2020, midnight

Opening Prayer Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Alleluia, Christ is risen. He is risen indeed, Alleluia.

A Thought for Today Today we reflect on the greeting that Jesus shares with those he reveals himself to after his resurrection from the dead. Jesus says: “Peace be with you”. Today the risen Son of God greets us and offers his gift of peace. A peace we need more than anything else in the world. A peace beyond our understanding. The peace of heaven poured upon earth.

Prayer for 2nd Sunday of Easter  Risen Christ, for whom no door is locked, no entrance barred: open the doors of our hearts, that we may seek the good of others and walk the joyful road of sacrifice and peace, to the praise of God the Father.

Prayer of blessing May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, now and evermore. Amen.

Closing Note This message is sent to you with love and prayers as: a word of encouragement and a sign of hope in these quite extraordinary
