 se that He will forever be with them. The term “Maundy” traces back to
  the Latin “Mandatum\,” echoing His commandment: “Love one another.
 ”\nPicture the priest\, echoing Christ’s humility\, washing feet durin
 g the Liturgy. As Good Friday approaches\, no Mass graces that solemn day.
  Instead\, the Sacrament consecrated on Maundy Thursday is reserved for th
 e morrow.\nIn a solemn procession\, it finds its way to the Altar of Repos
 e\, adorned with flickering lights and fragrant blooms. There\, it rests u
