Covid measures since 19 July
Since 19th July we have been back on our normal pattern of services. The first Evensong since March 2020 took place on 25th July 2021.
Although almost all Covid legal measures have now fallen away it remains important that people feel safe in church and incumbents still have a responsibility to show that risks are being considered and managed. Because of the high infection rates nationally the rector and churchwardens feel it is best to retain most of the measures that have were in place before July, the main exception being we will allow congregational singing, but we will wear masks while singing!
We will review these measures in September.
So summarising, for the time being:
If you would like to attend a service then please book in advance with Graham Hughes ([email protected], Tel: 01564 784636). Please who have not booked will be admitted if space allows.
- Please sanitise hands on entry and exit to church.
- Please wait for a warden to show you to or from your seat.
- We will try to keep a door open to help with ventilation
- Please wear a face mask, especially when singing
- At morning services, Holy Communion will be in one kind only distributed to people in their seats
