St Peter's Kids - Children's Activities

We try to cater for all ages - from creche to Teenager and upwards! If you don't see what you want for your age here, contact us and we'll see what we can do or tell you a bit more about these. For those aged over 11, look under Young People! Even before they are 'children', new mums or dads with babies (usually under a year old) are welcome to 'Bumps & Babies' , and Pre-school children and parents are welcomed at "Play and Stay" - both  now take place in the Hall with Coffee and Cake, "Creative Activities, Toys, Chat and Refreshments" every Friday in Term Time from 1:30 pm - 3.00 pm at St Peter's Hall (corner of Holly Lane and Balsall Street East) (a small charge is made, £1 for the first child, 50p thereafter)

On Sundays there is a 'Sunday Club' and FROGS (Friends of God) for the younger ones (Sunday School activity) during the morning 9.30 service, except when children join the whole congregation for our monthly Family Worship. Smaller children are welcome to use the 'creche' facility at the back of the church in the Baptistry - toys, rug and toilet!  On the Third Sunday, the SWITCH service is even more child-friendly.

Family Friendly Worship - we feel that our more family-friendly worship services  are the ones  we hold on the Second and Third Sunday every month: 'watch this space' or come to see for yourself..... look for the posters about ' SWITCH’, (Sunday Worship In The Church or Hall, at 9:30 on the Third Sunday), Lighthouse and Navigate at 11:00 on the Third and First Sundays, and the occasional Cafe Church (also on the 'Fifth Sunday' of each month - at 9.30 am). On the Fourth Sunday we shall have an ‘all-together’ 9:30 communion service with a chance for young people to “skive” off for their own activities in the middle! All Welcome

Volunteers to help with all the above are also VERY welcome!!!!
