Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 22nd February the PCC have decided:
· We should not return to public worship in the buildings at present. We will reconsider this after Stage 2 of the roadmap kicks in (12th April at the earliest)
· We will re-open St James building for private prayer on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10-4 as previously as from Wednesday 31st March in line with Stage 1 of the roadmap.
· In that first week of re-opening we will also open St James Church building on Good Friday 2nd April for private prayer
· On Easter Day 4th April although we will not be worshipping in the building we will hold 3 communion services outside in the garden at St John’s
6:30am Sunrise Service
10am Easter Eucharist
6pm Reflective Worship
Numbers will be restricted to 30 at each. Please phone 0121 745 8896 from 9:30am on Monday 29th March to book a place. Social distancing will apply.
We realise that some will be disappointed by this, but feel the important thing is to be cautious.
Services will continue to be available online and via the phone - please see our Services and Events page. We will also continue to print and deliver paper copies of worship materials to those who cannot access these services. Please contact the Parish Office if you know of someone who would like to be added to this list.
