DESCRIPTION:Here are some words from Rev Sarah concerning her forthcoming 
 Sabbatical.........\n\n"Some people have been asking about my sabbatical -
  every 10 years clergy are entitled to apply for a Sabbatical - up to 12 w
 eeks away from the parish.  Ely Diocese say - Extended Ministerial Leave a
 llows space and time for a different type of engagement\, it provides spac
 e and time to enable growth in leadership and a vocational reflection and 
 it also creates space and time to renew and deepen an individual’s commi
 tment to God. \nI will be looking at the subject of Wintering as a season 
 in our church and faith and what God is doing.\nThere is a lot of secular 
 liturgy on wintering but I have not found much Christian literature around
  this.\nI will be spending time around Durham looking at Northern Saints a
 nd will then be going onto Lindisfarne (Holy Island) for 3 weeks.  Lindisf
 arne is a tidal island on the North East Coast.\nFrom there I will be spen
 ding time catching up with friends and family and I will finish my sabbati
 cal on retreat in Exeter for 3 weeks where life will be moving into spring
 .\nMy first Sunday back with you will be Palm Sunday which is the 29th Mar
 ch and there will be one service that day and we will have our first bring
  and share lunch of the year.  I look forward to hearing what God has been
  doing in your midst whilst sharing what He has been doing in my life.\nSi
 mon is not able to join me for most of this so you will see him at St Pete
 rs and he will be preaching and leading at St Peter's but we will have tim
 e together during my sabbatical."\n\nPlease pray for Sarah while she is aw
 ay from us\, that she may find peace and inspiration!
