  in the Little Baldon Air Crash which occurred 60 years ago.\n\nThe crash 
 occurred when a Handley Page Hastings C1A crashed into a field in Little B
 aldon\, near Chiselhampton\, Oxfordshire\, shortly after take off from RAF
  Abingdon.\n\nThis resulted in the loss of 41 people (including 6 crew)\, 
 making it the third worst air crash in the UK at the time.\n\nYou are welc
 ome to honour them by laying crosses and wreaths at the Cross of Sacrifice
 .
