 us at Bristol Cathedral for this year’s Lent Quiet Day\, Praying in Tune
  – Breath and Prayer\, led by Rev Dr Ian Bailey\, a member of the Cathed
 ral congregation.\n\nSince retiring in 2009\, Ian has tutored Exploring Ch
 ristianity and served as a Spiritual Director to many. Drawing on this exp
 erience\, he will guide us in exploring the connection between the body\, 
 breathing\, and prayer.\n\nThe day will include two sessions. The first wi
 ll focus on how we can align our breathing to support and deepen our praye
 r. The second will reflect on the teaching of the great Christian mystics\
 , including Julian of Norwich\, particularly in relation to silent prayer.
 \n\nThis will be a practical and encouraging day\, inviting you to “give
  it a go” and offering simple tools to enrich your own prayer life. Ther
 e will be space for stillness\, reflection\, and gentle guidance as we jou
 rney through Lent together.\n\nAll are welcome\, whether you are new to Qu
 iet Days or familiar with this pattern of prayer.
