DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Come and Sing Choral Evensong\, an oppor
 tunity for singers of all abilities to experience the beauty and tradition
  of Anglican choral worship — and to sing alongside the magnificent Cath
 edral organ.\n\nWhether you are a regular choir member\, an enthusiastic a
 mateur\, or simply enjoy singing sacred music\, you are warmly invited to 
 take part. The afternoon begins with a rehearsal led by our Cathedral musi
 c team\, where participants will learn and prepare the music together.\n\n
 Participants will then sing in the service of Choral Evensong\, leading th
 e congregation in psalms\, canticles\, and anthem within the Cathedral’s
  historic setting. Accompanied by the Cathedral’s organ\, singers will e
 xperience the rich and uplifting sound that lies at the heart of the Angli
 can choral tradition.\n\nThis is a wonderful chance to sing inspiring chor
 al music\, meet fellow singers\, and enjoy the rare experience of performi
 ng with the Cathedral organ in a service of worship. Music will be provide
 d\, and the Evensong service will be open to the wider community to attend
 .\n\nRehearsal: 1.30pm\nEvensong: 5.15pm\n\nAll singers are welcome.
