DESCRIPTION:At our All Souls service we remember those who have died –
“those whom we love but see no longer”. \nDuring the service there's a
n opportunity to light a candle in memory of someone you have lost\, and w
e read out the names of the departed. Together\, we give thanks to God for
those who have passed from this life\, to acknowledge our sorrow\, and to
express our hope in “the life of the world to come”. \nIf you are mou
rning a loved one – whether someone who has died recently or many years
ago – this service offers a time for quiet remembering and reflection in
a beautiful sacred space. Everyone is welcome here – it doesn’t matte
r if you don’t usually come to church.\nIf you plan to come to this serv
ice and you'd like to include the name of a loved one\, write their name o
n the list inside St Peter's Church.\nDuring the service\, the choir will
sing Gabriel Fauré's beautiful setting of the Requiem Mass.
