  5th January\, a traditional time for the blessing of homes and all the li
 fe within them.  To mark the blessing: the door\, lintel or similar are ch
 alked with the 2026 and C M and B for the names of the three wise men (Cas
 par\, Melchior and Balthazar\, it also makes the initials of “Christ ble
 ss this house” in Latin\, Christus Mansionem Benedicat).  \n\nAt St Mary
 's Epiphany will be celebrated at the 10am and 6pm services on Sunday 4th 
 January.  Please contact Rev'd John by email or phone if you would like a
