Welcome to the Parish of Letchworth

COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

During this challenging time of the coronavirus outbreak we must now adjust to a new way of life not only as individuals but also as a church community.

In order to avoid all non-essential contact, all public worship has now been suspended and churches closed until further notice. However, the offering of prayer and praise continues as Fr Robert celebrates the Eucharist at the Rectory on our behalf, and as we too pray in the intimacy of our homes.

Everyone can join in prayer from home, and we hope that the materials posted on this website will enable you to do so. To stay up to date, please check the 'News and Notices' section regularly. We also hope to be able to live stream our Sunday Parish Mass at https://www.facebook.com/letchworthparish/

If you would like Fr Robert to bring before God in prayer any intentions you have, please get in touch with him via social media, this page or telephone.

Stay safe and well.

*********

We are a welcoming and growing Christian community located in the heart of Letchworth.

Our Parish lies in the southwest of the Garden City and has two churches, of St Michael the Archangel (the parish church) and of St Mary the Virgin, each offering a distinctive style of worship. We are part of the Anglican Diocese of St Albans.

We would love to welcome you at any of our services (please browse these pages for details) taking place in both churches. We also have the Parish Hall available for hire for community events and various regular group activities.

Some of our meetings and social events take place in the Parish Hall located next to St Michael's Church. Currently, due to some ongoing problems with the church building, the 10.30 Sung Parish Mass on a Sunday has been moved to the Hall.

You are welcome to come and join us at any time. If you’d like to find out more, send us a message via this page or get in touch with our Parish Priest, Fr Robert Kozak.

We are looking forward to meeting you soon!
