On Sunday 19th July our church will be open for public worship. There will be a service of Holy Communion at 9.45am. We will be continuing to also live stream Sunday Worship.
Due to the ongoing risk of Covid 19 there are a number of precautions and restrictions that we have to adhere to, as a result our service will be different in some ways. Entry into and out of the church will be monitored to ensure that social distancing is maintained, you will also need to give your name and contact details on entry so that we are able to get in touch in the event of a worshipper being diagnosed with coronavirus. Please ensure you arrive in good time to enable these checks to be made so that we are able to start the service promptly. If it is raining, entry to church will be through the front door of the hall. Social distancing is a key factor in church and therefore chairs will be set out to meet the requirement of maintaining a distance of 2 metres between people. Arrangements will be in place to enable those who are in the same social bubble to sit together. There will be no singing but we will still have music and hymns as part of the service. There will also be some changes in how communion is given.
You are very welcome to join us for our services but please bear in mind the ongoing government guidance especially if you fall into the vulnerable people category or if you have symptoms such as a new cough, high temperature or sudden loss of smell and taste. It is essential that we protect ourselves and each other so please act responsibly and do not put yourself or others at risk.
