We are delighted once again to have been awarded Silver Certificate status for raising over £1000 in 2019 in the annual Sponsored Bike 'n Hike with the Beds and Herts Historic Churches Trust.

We are proud to have been awarded Bronze and silver certificate status from the Trust for five continuous years now:

Bronze 2015, Silver 2016, Silver 2017, Bronze 2018, Silver 2019 and we have actively taken part in the Bike n Hike since 2013.

St. Peter's Church, Milton Bryan is a corporate member of the Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust. Our church family and wider community actively take part in and support the annual Bike ‘n Hike.

As Ampthill Area Organiser for this event, I am very pleased to be countersigning six 2019 certificates for this area to: St. Mary Magdalene, Westoning; St. Peter, Milton Bryan; St. Nicholas, Tingrith; St. Michael, Woburn Sands; St. John, Eversholt and St. Peter and St. Paul, Flitwick. Our church almost raised the most in the area, a close second to Westoning.

It is also a pleasure to see Eversholt joining us this year and also Woburn in setting up signing in table to support the event. Thank you to all who sponsored me for last year's bike ride and Stacey and Co back at Milton Bryan who ran a Bike 'Hike Cafe Church, total funds raised £1066.00 (£1,197.25 Gift Aid inc.)!

Did you know... Did you know that the Sponsored Bike 'n Hike is part of the Nationwide 'Ride and Stride'?... But we in the Beds and Herts region prefer to maintain the 'Bike 'n Hike' as apparently it sounds better!

PLEASE NOTE: This year's sponsored Bike 'n Hike planned for Saturday 12 September is currently under review due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and a statement will be released soon.

'The Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust aims to assist those responsible for the care of places used for public worship in the two counties which belong to a Christian religious body; make funds available for the restoration, maintenance, preservation, repair and reconstruction of churches and chapels'.

Every Blessing, Kelvin White.
