Dear All, Please note: There will be a change to this Sunday morning's worship in church, that would usually be Songs of Praise. This is due to our organist being unwell, thankfully this is understood to be unrelated to Coronavirus. So this Sunday morning, we will have a 'Service of Readings and Prayer' starting at the usual time of 10:30am. Be assured Songs of Praise will return. This Sunday morning's service will consist of: Welcome and Notices,Opening prayer,Bible readings, Offertory, Prayers, Blessing. Prayers will be said for those suffering and affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Sadly, catering and the serving of refreshments are currently suspended and unavailable. You are more than welcome to bring a drink of your own in a flask or thermos mug, but please no sharing. Please use the hand sanitizer on the way into church. As sad as it is, please no physical contact when meeting and greeting one another. All services and events remain under continuous review in the coming days and weeks and you will be kept up to date. With best wishes,Kelvin WhiteLay Leader of Worship and Churchwarden

Holy Communion Services: Communion will be offered in one kind only to all communicants, the consecrated bread wafer, with the Rector alone taking a small amount of wine.Standing and receiving, rather than kneeling and touching the communion rail is encouraged. Direct physical contact as part of a Blessing shall also be suspended. We are now in the process of contingency planning via a 'Coronavirus Parish Continuity Plan' to ensure, as far as possible, our continued mission and ministry. Advice concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19) from St. Peter's Church, Milton Bryan Whilst it will be Faith and business as usual at St. Peter's, this is to inform you, in line with best practice, we will be acquiring some small hand sanitizing gel dispensers for church to help maintain good hygiene standards. Those who play a welcoming role will simply direct people to use these as they come into Church for services in the coming weeks. Sadly, at present, it is advisable to keep our greetings on all occasions verbal not physical i.e no hand shaking, hugging. It is highly likely that Rev. Steve Nuth, will be offering Communion in one kind (bread), for our monthly Holy Communion Service on 22nd March and until further notice. This is to be confirmed in the coming days. Please follow all the government advice on hygiene at: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/coronavirus-public-information-campaign-launched-across-the-ukAs a church, you can see where our advice and support comes from in the links below:https://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-parishes/coronavirus-covid-19-additionalhttps://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-churchesI also draw your attention to Bishop Alan's four Golden Rules, but not official advice.
