Although there is no definite date for a return to Sunday services, following a meeting with our benefice churchwardens and Dorothy on Tuesday, we would like to take a sounding about who would be likely to come back to ‘physical church’ (with of course social distancing and hygiene measures in place) if we receive the necessary go-ahead from government and church authorities. The pattern of Sunday worship will have to be different in order to make provision for all, and it may involve you going to a different church in the benefice from that to which you usually go.

If you can answer this question:

“Would you come back to church for an ‘actual’ service?”

with your name and a yes/no response and email [email protected] it would be very helpful.

Also, with the recent changes in government advice, it is now possible for me to make pastoral visits to you at a safe distance in an outside space / garden (as long as this is possible without me going through your home), or for me to see people in the vicarage front garden (although this might be a bit public if you have a personal problem...). If you are in need of some face-to-face time, do let me know.
