DESCRIPTION:This year we are going back to the future.  Instead of a Maund
 y Thursday service\, a Good Friday service\, and an Easter service\, we ha
 ve one service lasting sixty hours\, with two big breaks.  \n\nWhat's this
  all about?  Well:\n\nThe most terrible\, wonderful and world-changing eve
 nts in history happened two thousand years ago.  O that we were there\, as
  we sing in the carol\; but we were not.  \n\nWe can\, however\, enter int
 o those great days\, as the church has always done\, by the keeping the th
 ree days of Maundy Thursday\, Good Friday\, and Easter Sunday as a single 
 observance.  We remember and celebrate the events at the time and on the d
 ay when they happened.  \n\nThus on Maundy Thursday we start at 7.30\, and
  after the Last Supper\, Foot Washing and a Vigil we go our separate ways 
 but still together in spirit.  \n\nOn Good Friday we return to the buildin
 g after the ecumenical Walk of Witness (starting about 12.30 at Minstead G
 ardens Methodist Church) and pick up the story again remembering the cruci
 fixion - that segment lasts from 1.45 to 2.45 (to fit in with the Liturgy 
 at St Joseph's RC Church).  \n\nOn Sunday we gather again just before 6am 
 to conclude the service\, lighting the new fire\, bringing light and life 
 back into the Church\, welcoming the risen Lord\, and renewing our baptism
 al vows.  Breakfast to follow!
