A Church of England initiative in partnership with CONNECTIONS at Holy Trinity Claygate, and Faith in Later Life. The line – which is available 24 hours a day on 0800 804 8044 – has been set up particularly with those unable to join online church services during the period of restrictions in mind. “With many in our country on lockdown, it's important that we support those who are feeling lonely and isolated, whatever age they are" - Archbishop Justin Welby.

FOND FAREWELLS: Lindsay Davidson and husband Bill are moving away from Royston to be closer to family on 20th January. Lindsay sends apologies, that under the current restrictions, she is unable to say goodbye to you all personally. Lindsay says, “I will miss St John's and all the people in it, and wish you all the best blessings for the future especially re the church building getting finished this year hopefully. I shall be sad not to see it in all its new glory, but hope that I can come back and see it when it is. Thanks for all your support in the past and also that of the church as a whole especially when I was Mayor and pestered you all a lot with my little projects!!”

BRENDA WATKIN’S GRANDSON JACKSON: has now completed nine months of intensive Chemo. His surgery is planned 26th January to implant metal femur and hip. His parents, Scott and Deborah, and Brenda are so grateful for all your prayers. Thank you! A very peaceful and healthy New Year to you all. Brenda.
