It has been a long Lent following on from a long year of pain and loss, loneliness and grief. We are nearly ready to travel those last few days with Jesus, through the Garden of Gethsemane, to the Courtyard of humiliation and pain, to Golgotha and the Garden Tomb and then to the joy of the Resurrection on Easter Morning. This Easter our churches are still closed but we are hoping to open up the story to everyone to explore.
We are meeting throughout Holy Week online, and on Good Friday you are invited to journey physically through the Passion of Christ. You can do this, in your own 'bubbles', by visiting St John the Baptist Churchyard or St Andrew's School to "Experience Easter Outside", taking a reflective walk through the places Jesus went in order to show his love for us and to redeem us by his death and resurrection.
