LET'S KEEP CALM AND ..........

Let’s all be diligent in praying for our world, governments, healthcare professionals and individuals, that the spread of the virus would halt and that the loss of life would be minimal.

These things can create feelings of fear and isolation - together we are committed to love one another, care for the vulnerable and encourage each other. Our Network churches are places we can ensure this happens if only by phone, email and social networking. Let’s all enable this to happen

- Praying for each other will continue but we will not be laying hands on each other.

- Greeting each other will continue with a smile. Please maintain the required social distance of 2m from one another

- wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitiser

Update 16 March 2020: - Creative space group meeting on 18 March 2020 - cancelled

Information dated 14 March 2020:

We are aware of the Covid-19 virus and are following Church of England national guidance which can be found here -

Until the government deems it unwise for groups to gather, we will gather; until the World Health Organisation advises it has become unsafe to meet together, we will meet together.

Minimise the ways in which the virus can be shared

- At communion services across the network we will be giving communion in ‘one kind’ - that is - just the bread and not the wine.

- we will receive the bread standing up rather than using communion rails.

- Praying for each other will continue but we will be encouraging people not to lay hands on each other.

 - Greeting each other will continue but we will, as far as practical, not hug, kiss and generally get too close to each other!  A smile can make a real difference

- wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitiser if you can get hold of it. We are hoping to provide some at our services.

- refreshments at our services are suspended until further notice.
