DESCRIPTION:We welcome the return of ‘Hexachordia’ (www.hexachordia.co
 m) to St Peter’s Church\, Neatishead on Saturday 10th May at 7pm. Hexach
 ordia will be presenting a celebration of the English garden in music and 
 words called “All in a Garden Green”. Playing on authentic copies of o
 riginal instruments from the Medieval and Tudor eras such as the harp\, re
 corders\, gittern\, lutes and viols\, the group performs music inspired by
  formal gardens and the English countryside. This music is interspersed wi
 th readings contemporary with the pieces\, reflecting on the evolution of 
 the English garden through to the seventeenth century. We hope that procee
 ds from this concert\, which is being generously sponsored by a parishione
 r will bring us to the final conclusion of our bell and tower refurbishmen
 t fundraising total. Please come along and help us to do this and enjoy a
