 pairs to the churchyard walls and restoration of its 18th century bell and
  surrounding tower\, which has taken 7 years to complete. Grateful thanks 
 go to the generosity of our local community through donations\, supporting
  fundraising events and a grant received from the National Lottery Heritag
 e Fund. \n\nThere will be interesting displays by the Neatishead\, Irstead
  and Barton Turf Community Heritage Group about St Peter’s and the chang
 es that have taken place architecturally over the last few centuries toget
 her with a photographic display of recent events. \nRefreshments available
  on both days.\n\nThere are over 400 gravestones\, tablets and monuments i
 n St Peter’s and its churchyard\; all have been researched and documente
 d. If you have ancestors buried or remembered there you will be able to fi
 nd out more about your family history using the groups documentation\, res
 earched recently by Monica Riley.
