In response to reaching the terrible milestone of 100,000 deaths from COVID-19, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have asked us through February to unite as a nation and call on God in prayer. We are invited to pray, particularly at 6pm each day. Here we post a daily prayer in this time of crisis.
Thursday, February 25th. We pray today for the NHS and other key workers.
Our God is the great healer - and the agent used more than any other is the NHS.
Let us pray with gratitude for those who serve this country in the National Health Service and we pray that God will prosper the work of their hands.
We pray that they may have the skills, the strength and the personal tenacity to guide us through this pandemic and that all medical workers will be encouraged to continue their sacrifice and care among us.
