Quiz Night Sat 18th May 7-10pm in SMO Church Hall. Spag bol supper with wine. Supporting Leon’s Ministry and the charity LTHT (Let Them Help Themselves). Following last year’s fundraising to support the management of menstrual hygiene in schools in SW Uganda, LTHT has sourced 750 Menstrual hygiene kits from Days for Girls Uganda. Tickets (£20) are on sale now. 

Leon comes to us from South Africa and is an apprentice under a missionary scheme called PAIS. Although he has only been with us since September, he has already impacted our work with young people. One of the requirements is for Leon to carry out his fundraising since he is not paid directly while he is in the UK.

East Beach Cafe Meeting Point coach outing on Wednesday 5th June 2024!
Our Falcon coach will pick us up from St Mary Oatlands Church at 10 o’clock. Cost of £50 (£50.40 if cheque) includes coach travel and fish and chip lunch at the East Beach Cafe in Littlehampton. Walk along the promenade, sit and admire the sea view or dip your toes in the water. Enjoy an ice cream. Wheelchairs welcome with pusher. Bring a friend as plenty of room on coach.

We return at 4.30 after a cup of tea and arrive back at St Mary Oatlands by 6.30 pm.

Reverend Folli's Final Service Sunday, 30th June, will be Revd Folli's final day and service at St Mary Oatlands. Join us for the
10 am service of Holy Communion. Followed by a 'Bring & Share' lunch on the Church lawn (in the church hall in case of bad weather). A time of food, fellowship, and memories as we celebrate Revd Folli's extraordinary ministry and friendship here at St Mary Oatlands and wish the Olokose family a very fond ‘au revoir’. Please use the signup sheet at the back of the Church to let us know you are coming. Memory Book: There will be a memory book for messages rather than a 'leaving card'. The book will be available each Sunday.
