 ill talk about the inspirational life of missionary Gladys Aylward at 6pm 
 on Sunday 21st January in St Mary’s Church Hall. Gladys Aylward 1902 –
  1970 started adulthood as a housemaid with little money\, no formal educa
 tion\, but a burning desire to become a missionary. In 1932\, with a Bible
 \, passport\, and two pounds in money\, she travelled on the Trans-Siberia
 n Railway to Yangcheng\, China\, to devote her life to rescuing and caring
  for orphaned children. Her trust in Christ\, and her courage and tenacity
  inspires. In 1958\, her life was captured in the film: "The Inn of the Si
 xth Happiness."\nDiscussion over refreshments afterwards. Donations to Gui
 ldford Action\, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and the church.
