On Friday 6th August our Sound System was given a temporary overhaul with 4 new radio microphones and a new loop amplifier to improve reliability for the hard of hearing. This work was brought forward from the wider AV project and cost just over £4.5k.

enter via the Rutherwyke Room kitchen/back door. All must wash their hands, sign-in (Test & Trace purposes) & wear a face mask / visor* in Church. Our risk-assessment allows 120 people (+ 8 staff) per service max. You can now sing in Church! But we kindly ask you do so behind a face covering as we try to keep everyone safe.

LOOKING AHEAD – DATES FOR YOUR DIARY!

Summer Festival Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August. Please put this date in your diary and keep it free – all hands to the pump! Donations of bottles for the tombola, nearly-new bric-a-brac and cakes. Please leave these in the Rutherwyke Rm. ______________________________________________________

BUY A BRICK CAMPAIGN – only 1K still to raise!

We hope to complete the last phase of works (£2.2k) before the autumn, improving safety from the Tower down to St Mary’s gate/TASIS South Campus Car Park. Thank you for your support as we seek to raise the last £1k required.

Runnymede Food Bank – Do continue to leave your contributions in the green crate outside the Rutherwyke Room Link door (new patio!). These will be collected regularly and passed on to them.

Noah’s Ark - we re-start on Thursday 9th September (9am-12nn). We are looking to appoint a new ‘Leader’ for Noah’s Ark group. All offers to Fr Damian. This role requires a full DBS check and has a role description. Call the Vicarage on 01932 565986.

Parking assistance at Weddings and Funerals: The wardens would be VERY GRATEFUL for assistance on these occasions.

TASIS Car Park Please contact Mary Morris if your vehicle registration has changed over the last two years, or if you are on the electoral roll and need to apply for a permit (in which case Mary will provide you with an application form - ([email protected] 07949 685683) or catch her in church on Sundays or the Parish Office on Wednesday mornings.
