 can Church in Sofia.\n\nBut what is the 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢
 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬? In the Anglican tradition\, this a
 ncient practice marks the start of Lent. Ashes\, made from the burned palm
  crosses of the previous year’s Palm Sunday\, are placed on the forehead
  in the shape of a cross while these words are spoken:\n"𝑅𝑒𝑚𝑒
 𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑑𝑢𝑠
 𝑡\, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙
 𝑙 𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑛."\n\nThe ashes symbolise repentance and our 
 mortality\, while the cross reminds us of the hope we have in Christ’s s
 acrifice and resurrection. Together\, they invite us to reflect\, repent\,
  and renew our commitment to God as we prepare for Easter.\n\nThis service
