DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday is the fifth day of Holy Week. It gets its nam
 e from the Latin word 'mandare'\, from which we get the word 'command'. Ch
 ristians remember Jesus's command: "Love one another as I have loved you."
  \nWe recall the Last Supper and how Jesus washed the disciples' feet as a
 n act of humility.  This act of Foot washing is recreated at our Maundy Th
 ursday service as a reminder of how Jesus served others\, and of the kind 
 of service Christians are meant to demonstrate to others.  You are very we

 nki Cathedral.
