DESCRIPTION:On Remembrance Sunday we remember the sacrifice of those who d
efended our freedoms and protected our way of life\, through two world war
s and beyond. In particular\, we remember the armed forces and their famil
ies\, as well as the emergency services and those who have lost their live
s as a result of conflict or terrorism.\n\nBut we will also remember those
parts of the world which are being devastated by war even now\, particula
rly Ukraine\, Israel/Palestine and Sudan. Here life is being torn apart an
d people on all sides are losing those that they love. \n\nWe will be join
ed by representatives of Royal British Legion Mollina Branch\, Veterans an
d Blue Lighters. Together our task will be to remember all who have served
and sacrificed\, particularly British and Commonwealth soldiers\, sailors
\, airmen and women.\n\nThere will also be a Remembrance Sunday service at
  St George's Church\, Malaga\, starting at 10:45am (details:https://www.ac
 hurchnearyou.com/church/8530/service-and-events/events/1105878/). \n\n“T
hey shall grow not old\, as we that are left grow old:\nAge shall not wear
y them\, nor the years condemn.\nAt the going down of the sun and in the m
orning\nWe will remember them”.\n(from ‘For the Fallen’ by Laurence
 Binyon)
