 rmers and fisherman\, who told stories of lost sheep\, a man beaten up by 
 the roadside\, a ponsy landowner\, fishers of men\, treasure buried in a f
 ield\, seed sown by the wayside\, or\, as in today's gospel\, where the Ph
 arisees complain that his disciples are not adhering to the strict require
 ments of the law as they haven´t washed their hands properly before eatin
 g\, and Jesus goes onto explain it is what comes out of a man that defiles
  him\, not what goes in. Our God is a God of the people\, not in far off J
 erusalem\, but walking every day through the fields\, and along the shores
 \, of Galilee.
