DESCRIPTION:in today’s gospel\, Jesus is on his way from Galilee to Jeru
 salem and he passes along the border of the territory inhabited by the Sam
 aritans\, a race of people whom the Jews considered to be well below them.
  And as he passes through a village\, Jesus is approached by ten lepers. T
 hey don´t come close to him because that was not allowed. Instead they ca
 ll out to him from a distance\, ‘Jesus\, Master\, have mercy on us!’ A
 nd he heals them and tells them to show themselves to the Jewish priests t
 o certify they are clean of their leprosy. And they go\, and show themselv
 es to the priests\, and get on with their lives. And only one of the ten c
 omes back to say ‘Thank you’. Why? After such a tumultuous healing\, a
  complete restoration of their lives\, a reintegration into society\, why 
 does only one come back? What is wrong with us human beings that we can't 
 even say 'thank you' for the big things? And it's not what you think. Come
  to church on Sunday and find out!
