 rmers and fisherman\, who told stories of lost sheep\, a man beaten up by 
 the roadside\, a ponsy landowner\, fishers of men\, treasure buried in a f
 ield\, seed sown by the wayside\, or\, as in today's gospel\, where Jesus 
 commends his listeners for their ability to forecast the weather from the 
 clouds in the sky\, but berates them for their inability to read the signs
  of the times. Our God is a God of the people\, not in far off Jerusalem\,
  but walking every day through the fields\, and along the shores\, of Gali
 lee.
