 nd then music once again to lead us out from the depths of stillness.  We 
 then finish with tea and cake and chat.\n\nIf you would like to come along

DESCRIPTION:On the second Monday of the month at 2.30 pm\n\nJulian meeting
 s are held all over the world to foster the practice and teaching of medit
 ation and contemplative prayer within the Christian tradition.\n\nIt is a 
 chance to still oneself from the busyness of life\, to enter into deep sil
 ence\, stillness.  Many people repeat a word quietly to centre their praye
 r and as the mind may wander\, come back to the word.\n\nWe start with mus
 ic to steady our thoughts.  This leads us into our 40 minutes of silence a
 nd then music once again to lead us out from the depths of stillness.  We 
 then finish with tea and cake and chat.\n\nIf you would like to come along
  and give it a go\, you can be sure of a very warm welcome as we enter sil

DESCRIPTION:Forest Church offers a time for families to explore faith toge
 ther. There is a dramatised Bible Story\, in which children and adults tak
 e part\, followed by activities inside and outside\, related to the story.
  We then come together again for a time of reflection\, a prayer and a son
 g. We have moved around to different venues over the last few months but a
 re hoping to return to the wooded area of Countess Wear School where we or
 iginally started\, when the school have finished their building work. We a
 re currently using St Luke's Church and the church rooms as our venue.

 dly Holy Communion\, with a simplified order of service\, and a more acces
 sible style of music.  There is an informal band for the songs\, and video
  projection of liturgy and lyrics.  There is a play area for the youngest 
 members of the family.  After the service\, drinks and biscuits are availa
 ble and everyone is encouraged to stay and socialise.
