Sadly, owing to lockdown restrictions and increasing concerns about the spreading of the coronavirus, Shobrooke Parish Church Council made the decision yesterday that no church services should be held at Shobrooke Church until further notice. We hope very much that it will be safe to hold a service on Easter Sunday, 4th April, but watch this space for more information. The Parish Church Council at Crediton has also made the same decision.

The kind folk who had offered to lead services at Shobrooke between now and Easter are hoping to be able to Zoom a Sunday service for us, starting on Sunday 31st January at 11.00am, and thereafter on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. If you would like to receive the appropriate link to be able to “attend” these services online please do let me know and I will then be able to send you the links nearer the time. You can also be sent the text of the service if I know you would like to receive it.

Some folk have requested that the church should be open for private prayer, and we have decided to open it from next week on Tuesdays from 12-1.00pm and Thursdays from 1-2.00pm. Someone will be there to open up and close the church and make a note of your contact details. There is no need to book a place.
