  the Paschal Candle\, with leads us into the unlit church\, where we hear 
 the Exsultet. Readings tell of the promise of salvation. After renewing ou
 r Baptismal promises\, the Easter Proclamation is made\, and we make a gla
 d sound with a variety of instruments. This early Eucharist is always joyf
 ul\, reverent\, and expectant. Breakfast follows in the crypt for those wh
 o wish to stay on.
