The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. John 1:5

Our church building is currently closed due to the coronavirus restrictions, but for the church itself it is very much business as unusual!

Please head over to our Facebook page for online events and services and any other updates:

We are glad to be able to say that at the moment our church will still be open every day, but there are not going to be any public services until further notice.

Should you find other people already in the church when you visit, please remember to observe the recommended two metre distance.

Peace be with you.

Following discussions involving church leaders and members, and after prayerful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to suspend a number of church activities until the risks posed by the coronavirus have been contained.

Our regular Sunday services will carry on, and we will follow the recommended guidelines to try and reduce any risks as much as possible. However, all other activities will be suspended until further notice.

The church itself will remain open all day, every day, for you to visit and pray, but there will be no organised activities taking place apart from our regular Sunday services.

Throughout Matthew’s gospel Christ repeats the words ‘do not be afraid’.

We are not taking these actions because of fear, but because at the moment this seems to be the best way to show our love and concern for each other.

Please extend that love and concern to your friends and neighbours, and be ready to do what you need to do to help them and bless them at this time.

We will of course keep you up to date with all our plans as and when the situations changes.

Peace be with you.
