 ’s\, Barbrook.\nSt Bartholomew's was built in 1875 to provide an alterna
 tive place of worship to the Wesleyan\nchapel\, for the people of Barbrook
  Mill\, a community built around the sawmill.\nIt was built as a "Mission"
  Church of St Mary the Virgin\, Lynton.\nAn afternoon of celebration has b
 een organised culminating in a Holy Communion Service:-\n\nCream Teas plus
  cake in the Village Hall at 4pm. \nDonations and contributions welcome
