DESCRIPTION:The infamous Sydenham Damerel Christmas Quiz\, an evening of m
 usic\, song\, film\, and a few tricky questions\, will be on Saturday the 
 6th of December at 7pm in St Mary’s. The entrance fee is £6 per person 
 and as usual the proceeds will be split between St Mary’s and the Devon 
 Air Ambulance.\n\n\n\nThe capacity of St Mary’s is limited to 9 quiz tea
 ms of 6. Last year we had 9 teams enter and this year it is possible we wi
 ll exceed the capacity as I have been approached by a couple of new teams 
 wanting a place on the quiz.\n\n\n\nFour of the 9 tables will be reserved 
 for the previous year’s winning team and teams entered by those that hel
 p with the quiz and all the other events during the year. That leaves five
  tables available which\, if we are oversubscribed\, will be allocated by 
 ballot.\n\n\n\nIf you would like to enter a team for the quiz\, can you le
 t me know by the 15th of November and tell me how many people are likely t
 o be in your team. I will draw the successful teams out of a hat on Sunday
  the 16th of November.\n\n\nJohn
