Pilgrim Walk

We have recently launched our Pilgrim Walk. You will walk where many pilgrims have walked in days gone. The walk does involve some hills and walking through fields that may have cattle/sheep in them. You can choose to walk between the three main churches or do all four or five if you include St.Catherines Chapel. The chapel dedicated to St.Bartholomew at Corton Farm is set within a private farm, so please respect the owners privacy. The walk can be completed in a day.

Check out the websites of both Abbotsbury and Portesham for Village information

 https://www.portesham.org.uk

Further in information on all the churches that are included in the walk can be found on each churches individual page.

Parking is available at Abbotsbury, so you can walk to Portesham, on to Corton, then to Langton Herring and finish by walking to St.Catherine Chapel.

Do walk the walk and enjoy the views. If you are part of a group walking, refreshments could be provided if requested and of course prayer.

Leaflets can be picked up in any of the benefice church.
