DESCRIPTION:Taizé is a small village in eastern France.  For 70 years it 
 has been the home of a Christian monastic community made up of brothers fr
 om many different countries\, speaking many different languages and belong
 ing to several different Christian denominations.  \nThe community has dev
 eloped a unique style of meditative singing which focuses on the repetitiv
 e chanting of short phrases from the Bible and other Christian texts.  We 
 will be using some of the Taizé chants and prayers in this 30-minute serv
 ice.\nThe service will be followed by tea or coffee and cake.
