DESCRIPTION:A rare chance to enjoy a superb afternoon of organ and Piano m
 usic at 15:00 on Friday 25 September 2026.\n\nThe Friends of St Mary’s C
 hurch are proud and delighted to welcome two celebrated musicians\, Peter 
 Nardone and Jonathan Delbridge\, who will be giving a special concert in o
 ur beautiful church in Beaminster.\n\nWith a full-time career in music\, a
 nd having performed across 25 countries over five continents\, Peter Nardo
 ne’s areas of expertise include organ\, piano\, singing\, and conducting
 . In 2010 he was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Arts from Anglia Ruskin 
 University. Peter now lives in West Dorset and St Mary’s Church has been
  privileged to have him as resident organist over the past five years.\n\n
 Jonathan Delbridge holds a special interest in English piano music\, perfo
 rming in venues throughout the UK\, often including his own arrangements a
 nd improvisations. During his career he has gained various diplomas and\, 
 in 2011\, he achieved a distinction in the DipMusTh(ICMA) diploma in music
  theory. Jonathan lives in SW Dorset and is passionate about sharing his l
 ove of music as a performer and as an educator.\n\nBoth Peter and Jonathan
  promise a dynamic and diverse programme including much-loved favourites s
 uch as Ave Maria\, Carnival of Animals and Country Gardens\, incorporating
  surprises along the way with piano duet\, organ duet\, organ\, and piano 
 solos.\n\nThe event costs £10 at the door\, with under 16s free entry. Th
 ere will be light refreshments of tea and cakes.\n\n– Sue Corner
