Bellringing Practice.

Every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for 1hr

Our bellringers are always ready to welcome new recruits. Please contact Hilarie Rogers if you are interested - our ringers range from young people to pensioners, but the bells don't suit the very young. Practices are sometimes followed by social activity such as dinner and a drink in the Catherine Wheel.

Usually held on the 2nd Saturday in September, this annual sponsored bicycle ride (or walk - or even horse ride) in aid of the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust Starts 10.00 in participating Churches including ours. Most churches in Oxfordshire and beyond are opened. You can participate by visiting as many churches as you can, raising money by sponsorship, or you can help marshall the event by checking people as they visit. More information will be available inside church closer to the time, and at http://ohct.org.uk/ride-stride/ . Please let Amy or me know if you can help for an hour or so.

Mothering Sunday.

(Usually the last Saturday in June and the following Sunday, please check back closer to the time for confirmed dates).
DRAYON ST LEONARD's BIGGEST WEEKEND OF THE YEAR!
The annual Church Fete (and dog show) raises funds for the village Church. Events start at 1pm Saturday with the Fete proper. On Sunday at the Ford the Duck Race starts at 12:30 (get your duck in advance or at the fete) followed by the tug of war across the ford. Bring cash for fun and refreshments and bring a picnic. Enjoy!
Many volunteers are needed to run this event sucessfully, and while organising starts early in the year, help will be accepted at any time. Please let the fete committee know if you can help this year, email the Committee <[email protected]>.

We will mark Remembrance Sunday with a brief Act of Remembrance including the 2 minute silence at the War Memorial. Gather at 10:50.

The Church Bells will ring during the special service.

Safari Supper

This year the Safari Supper is on the last day of Lent! As in previous years this popular fundraising event is held in the homes of volunteers, diners visit a different house for each course. If you are new to the village or even if you've not joined in before please come, previous years have consistently seen quality eating for a bargain price and with excellent conversation. For details see the parish newsletter and information on the DSL Email group. Calls for volunteers to host/cook and ticket news will be available closer to the time, firstly on the DSL group email.
