The Bible Course – Explore the BIG story
Starting Tuesday 26 January at 7.00 pm on Zoom
Have you ever wondered about why we have so many different books
in the Bible? Have you tried reading the Bible in Genesis and started
well, but then got a bit unstuck in Leviticus or Numbers? Would you
like to know more about how to read the Bible and discover its
meaning for your life? All these questions and more are covered in the
Bible Course which we are planning to run over Lent 2021. It helps you
see the big picture of the Bible storyline, from Genesis to Revelation.
Each session is interactive, with a video film, a participants’ handbook,
discussion questions, reflection time and the opportunity to ask all
those questions about the Bible that you may never have had the
chance to ask!
The course is eight sessions, so we have decided to start at the end of
January, with a week’s break at February half-term and finishing the
week before Holy Week. The first session is on Tuesday 26 January at
7.00 pm and will be taking place on Zoom. We are offering places to
members of other churches in Westbury Area Churches Together, so
we hope it will be ecumenical as well.
If you would like to take part in the course, please let Rebecca or
Caroline know as soon as possible, and by 15 January, so we have time
to order the right number of course books and get them out to you in
time. Course books cost £4.99 each and it is recommended for each
participant to have their own copy. Once you have registered for the
course, we can send you the link for joining on Zoom.
We look forward to exploring the Bible together.
